Become a Construction Estimator Specialized in Project Valuation at Dinamo

As a Project Valuation Specialist Estimator, you will play a key role in analyzing, planning, and estimating projects to maximize their value and feasibility. Here are your main responsibilities:

Strategic Contribution: Participate in developing strategies for projects during the pre-estimation phase.
Client Interaction: Attend client development meetings, as needed, to ensure a clear understanding of their expectations before the pre-construction phase.
Project Analysis: Assess project feasibility, alignment with the client’s vision, and propose innovative ideas to add value.
Technical Review: Analyze and interpret plans, specifications, and bids from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Research and Negotiation: Source the best proposals from subcontractors and suppliers and negotiate to secure the most advantageous terms.
Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on project needs and proposals.
Documentation: Collaborate on the creation of clear and compelling presentation documents to support project development.
Professional Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with professionals, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, fostering long-term collaborations.
Tool Updates: Ensure the regular updating of work tools such as master estimates, supplier and subcontractor lists, and financial and quantitative project statistics.

This role requires a combination of strategic analysis, effective communication, and technical skills to enhance the value of each project and contribute to its success.

Desired Profile

We are looking for a meticulous and motivated individual with the following skills and qualities:

Education:

Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in a building-related field, or
Bachelor’s degree in Building Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any other relevant construction-related education.

Experience:

Experience in estimation or a related construction sector is required.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
Familiarity with various estimation and construction-related software.

Personal Qualities:

Communication: Excellent ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
Organization and Structure: Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining a comprehensive overview.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess projects and propose optimal solutions.
